Though I am predominately an equine artist, on occasion I veer off
and painting something different. I had gone to a western art show in
Oklahoma City and saw a lovely scissortail sculpture, I was fascinated
by it, and it made me pay more attention to our state bird since we have
them at our acreage. I observed they had really lovely feather colors
and great flying dynamics. My resulting painting came out very
energetic, and it earned a 1st place and Best of Show when exhibited.
This lovely vibrant painting is for sale. Acrylic on gallery wrap-
12"x36"x1.5"
